DINING PLAN Fee Summary
Our All Access Dining Plan is made up of two types of Dining Dollars: All Access Dining at three dining halls – worth $6,676.04 and Flex Dollars – worth $574.04.
Total cost for the Dining Plan is $7250.08.
Flex Dollars - $574.04
Save 5% at Select Food Outlets
As part of the All Access Dining Plan, diners can use $574.04 from their plan as Flex dollars, which they can use at other on-campus dining locations, or our off-campus dining partners. A 5% discount applies at select locations.
All Access dining swipe plan
As rooms in Ritsumeikan-UBC House and Gage Residence include full kitchens, first year students placed in those residences are not required to purchase the full All Access Dining meal plan. These students will instead have the option to purchase a bundle of swipes to access our dining halls at a discounted rate. Each swipe provides a single access to any one of the three dining halls. Students eligible for this option will receive information about it as part of their housing offer.
DOOR RATES FOR DINING HALLS
This door rate allows students, staff, faculty, and visitors who are not part of the dining plan to enjoy All Access Dining at Feast, Gather and Open Kitchen. The rates are as follows (not including GST):
Breakfast: $12
Lunch: $18
Dinner $20

Because diners have the opportunity to enjoy as much as they like during their meal, stations serve portions accordingly. These portion sizes:
- help reduce food waste, and
- allow diners to sample a wider variety of options during each meal.
Diners are invited to ask for more if they would like a larger serving size, or return for seconds (or thirds!).
