UBC and UBC Food Services uses Tacit Innovations, an online ordering solution, to collect personal information, including your name, e-mail address, phone number, or credit card information. This information is collected under the authority of Sections 26(c) and 26(d) of the BC Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), and is used for the purposes of fulfilling online UBC Food Services orders placed on our Tacit Innovations store and improving customer service. Personal information captured by Tacit Innovations may be accessed and/or reside outside of Canada. UBC and UBC Food Services will not disclose this information to third parties, except where required to fulfill legal obligations.
Use of Tacit Innovations constitutes consent to having one’s personal information, as specified above, stored and accessed outside of Canada.
