Best Coffee & Dessert Pairings on Campus

Is your treat of choice a flakey almond croissant, or are you more of a brownie person? Do you love a great Americano with dessert, or are you more likely to reach for a soy milk latté? Whatever your coffee + sweet preference, there are a lot of great places on campus to indulge those post-lunch or between class cravings. We've rounded up a few of our fave spots for you here that are worth checking out!

Perugia

Tucked away in the Life Sciences Centre, Perugia Italian Caffé offers rustic, home-style dishes that are perfectly rounded off by their selection of pastries, brownies, muffins and other house-made desserts. Pair the blueberry hand pie with a cappuccino for a satisfying dessert fix - open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm at 2350 Health Sciences Mall.

Great Dane Coffee

One of the best places on campus to dog watch, this pup-friendly café boasts quality coffee and equally yummy desserts. Look out for their donuts, specialty pastries and gluten-free sweets, like this toasted coconut brownie! Find Great Dane Coffee at 6011 Walter Gage Rd.

Hero Coffee

For a great coffee and dessert pairing on the go, look to Hero Coffee + Market in Orchard Commons. They brew a selection of specialty espresso-based drinks and pour over coffees that perfectly compliment their rotating cast of seasonal sweets. Open 7 days a week until 11PM, located at 6363 Agronomy Road.

The Point

Arguably one of the best dessert spots on campus, The Point's seasonal menus feature inventive specialties like birthday cake cheesecake (served in a mason jar) and caramel cheesecake topped with Skor bits. Pair with a fresh brewed espresso for the perfect end to a yummy meal! Find The Point at 2205 Lower Mall.
